Acupuncture is a complete system of diagnosis in its self. As such it can treat almost all cases of ill health. One distinction separating Acupuncture from orthodox medicine is the possibility to use the same treatment for different diseases and treat the same disease using different treatments, it all depends on the individual. In some cases it can cure an illness completely, whilst with other serious illnesses, such as Cancer, it can help reduce the side effects of prescribed drugs, as well as help with pain relief.
Whether and how much acupuncture can help depends on the individual case, how long the problem has existed and the response of the patient. Acupuncture involves an individualised approach to arrive at a unique treatment plan optimised for healing each individual patient
An initial consultation with the acupuncturist will determine how acupuncture can help.
